Malta International Airport (MLA): Approximate driving time to Bella Vista Hotel is 30-45 minutes and distance is 16 kilometres (10 miles).
Driving directions from Malta International Airport: When out of the airport at the first roundabout, follow the signs to road 8 towards Gozo. From road 8 go to road 21 to Zebbug and Imdina. Then go to road 16, leading into Bugibba, and follow the directions to Qawra on road 1. Immediately after passing the football grounds on the left, there will be the sign for the hotel.
Getting there: A fixed rate taxi service operates from the airport to towns all over the island. The fare is MTL 10 to Qawra, where the hotel is located. A taxi desk is located in the Arrivals hall where pre-paid tickets may be purchased. All prices subject to change.
Getting around: Malta has a network of buses connecting the main resorts. A one-day bus ticket for unlimited travel costs MTL 1.50. A car is useful for exploring the less touristy areas of the island. Gozo can be explored on foot, by bicycle or using the island’s network of buses which all depart from the main terminal in Victoria. There are ferries and high-speed catamaran services from Gozo to Malta (Valletta).
