Malta International Airport (MLA): Approximate driving time is 30 minutes and distance is 19 kilometres (12 miles).
Getting there: A fixed rate taxi service operates from the airport to towns all over the island. The fare is €30 to Qawra. A taxi desk is located in the Arrivals hall where pre-paid tickets may be purchased. Price is subject to change.
Getting around: Malta has a network of buses connecting the main resorts. A one-day bus ticket for unlimited travel costs €5. A car is useful for exploring the less touristy areas of the island.
