Malta International Airport (MLA): Approximate driving time to Hilton Malta is 20 minutes and distance is 10 kilometres (6 miles).
There is a full fixed fare taxi service to all areas of Malta. A taxi booth is located in the Welcomers' Hall where pre-paid tickets may be purchased. Bus number 8 departs regularly to/from Valletta, five kilometres away, and leaves from a bus stop outside the check-in hall.
Driving directions: From the airport, follow on the main road north to Marsa which will lead to the Regional Road. Proceed west, looking for the exit sign to St Julian's.
Malta is served by a network of buses, a free bus map is available from ATP kiosks. There are also regular ferries between Valetta and Sliema.
