Although the resort is split into two sites, St. George's Park & La Vallette Resort's guests are free to use the amenities of both complexes. The resort offers large, outdoor freshwater pools and a children’s paddling pool. The outdoor pool areas feature large sundecks featuring sun loungers and poolside bars. Health-conscious guests can work out in the fitness centre, or unwind with a sauna or massage. Guests can check their e-mail or surf the web via public high-speed Internet access (surcharge). Multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk can offer advice on sightseeing opportunities and help with tour enquiries. Malta International Airport (MLA): Approximate driving time to St. George's Park & La Vallette Resort is 20 minutes and distance is 11 kilometres (7 miles).
There is a full fixed-fare taxi service to all areas of Malta. A taxi booth is located in the Welcomers' Hall, where pre-paid tickets may be purchased. Alternatively, bus no. 8 departs regularly to/from Valletta, just four kilometres from the hotel, and leaves from a bus stop outside the check-in hall.
St Julians is compact and is best explored on foot, although a hired scooter can be useful, particularly for venturing further afield on the island.
